New Counselor Application
I want to apply to any camp except St. Elizabeth’s and I have never been a paid staff member previously. (Please indicate your experience, including years volunteering with St. Elizabeth’s Camp if applicable.)

RETURNING Counselor APPLICATION
I want to apply to any camp except St. Elizabeth’s and I HAVE been employed by Shrine Mont Camps previously. (If you have worked at one Shrine Mont Camp - besides St. Elizabeth's -and are applying to another Shrine Mont Camp, just indicate your history on the returning application).

New St. Elizabeth's Application
I want to apply to St. Elizabeth's Camp and have never worked at St. Elizabeth's Camp.

Returning St. Elizabeth's application
I want to apply to St. Elizabeth's Camp and I HAVE previously worked at St. Elizabeth's Camp.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS:

All staff members work together to:
  • Establish and foster a Christian community in which children can discover their God-given gifts and be affirmed as valued members of that community;
  • Ensure the health and safety of the entire camp program.

Shrine Mont Camp Staff members:
  • enjoy working with people of all ages;
  •  are able to assume and share responsibility;
  •  encourage others to discover new things and enjoy being at camp;
  •  are open to outcomes and experiences;
  • set aside their own needs for the needs of their campers;
  • are respectful of others’ spiritual journeys and open to their own faith formation.

All staff members must:
  • Complete a Medical History/Consent to Treatment form before camp begins;
  •  Become certified in CPR and First Aid by training week;
  • Submit to a criminal and sexual offender background check;
  • Be available for the entire staff training period, and  on site whenever their camp is in session;
  •  Have experience working with children (preferred); 
  • Have enthusiasm, high energy, and ability to work well with other staff (required).
